This approach takes into consideration an individuals unique nutritional needs, preferences, culture, traditions, lifestyle, priorities, family history, medical conditions and biomarkers. A whole food plant-based diet is one among many tools to help craft a customized approach to well-being. Along with sleep, physical activity, stress management, and the avoidance of risky substances, nutrition becomes part of a lifestyle medicine approach. Sherry works with her clients from this whole-person lens, providing evidence-based support, and referrals when needs are outside the scope of her practice – because a whole life deserves a whole team.
